The Ghibli is showcased at the Siemens booth, Hannover, for the world's biggest industrial fair, 13 to 17 April.

Maserati and its first E-segment executive saloon, the Ghibli, is displayed as a special guest in the Siemens Digitalization Forum at Hannover Messe. For 2015 the annual fair highlights some of the main themes relating to industrial automation and information technology, with focus on the digitalization in manufacturing, in which Siemens - industrial software and automation solutions supplier for Maserati manufacturing - represents the best in its class.

Yesterday, during the first day of the fair, to mark this special occasion Maserati and Siemens presented the “Ghibli digitalization showcase”, introducing how together with its “digital twin”, the Ghibli will clearly illustrate the interaction between real and virtual components, transforming digitalization in manufacturing into an interactive experience.

Everything presented in Hannover - highlights for car and technology enthusiasts and automation experts alike - is a type of transposition of what, on a daily basis, happens in the new facility where Maserati produces its saloons. The state-of-the-art Avvocato Giovanni Agnelli Plant in Grugliasco, close to Turin, was specifically built in 2012 and launched in 2013 for Ghibli and Quattroporte.

The sporty Ghibli saloon and flagship Quattroporte, feature V6 and V8 Twin-Turbo engines with power outputs ranging from 330-530hp: there is also a Q4 all-wheel drive version as well as the recently introduced V6 Turbo Diesel with 275hp. The range is completed by the GranTurismo coupe and the “open” GranCabrio version, produced in Modena; equipped with aspirated V8 engines with 405-460hp they are able to offer the comfort typical of Maserati GT cars, designed to accompany passengers on pleasant journeys at a fast pace and in a comfortable and elegant way.
