The Diversity&Inclusion movement keeps growing and making steps ahead in Maserati.

Four women from the Maserati family are now the protagonists of the Women Testing Team project,
an initiative to promote women's in-house roles in developing the brand's future creations. A significant female perspective that offers further feedback and highlights on contents aimed at fans of the Trident's cars.

As part of the Maserati D&I strategy, the Women Testing Team project operates on two levels: the human one, promoting inclusion thus wellbeing embracing all the voices inside the company; the business one, better mirroring all nuances and needs of Maserati customers.

Many people have worked behind the scenes: about 25 Maserati employees from different departments managed the project from design to execution. And the four selected women devoted themselves to real-world and virtual road testing at the wheel of the brand’s most desirable and iconic cars: MC20 Coupé, MC20 Cielo, GranTurismo Folgore, Grecale ICE and Grecale Folgore.

The project engaged the women drivers for more two months: starting from assessment tests and motivational interviews, passing through simulator tests and a four-days training at the Balocco circuit, ending up with more than 20 days of driving experience.

The Women’s Testing Team is now an endeavour strongly willed for and promoted by Maserati and the D&I team; the project demonstrates the power of diversity and the multi-faceted  opportunities for all parties whenever they manage to set women as true protagonists in the driving experience, overcoming one of the most widespread prejudices.
