Introducing 2023 Maserati Tipo Folgore
hero_f heromobile
Designed especially for wheel-to-wheel action, the Gen3 represents a key technological breakthrough for electric motorsport and is set to lead a rebellion in the automotive industry.
Ahead of the debut of the state-of-the-art Gen3 car in Season 9, Formula E is on the eve of a technical revolution as the series reaches new heights of competition. Showcasing previously unprecedented levels of performance with 350kW power capabilities, the Gen3 will have a top speed of 200mph and sports front and rear powertrains to facilitate 600kW regenerative capabilities – more than double that of its predecessor.

In each E-Prix, a minimum of 40 percent of all energy used will be produced solely through regenerative braking while, with a 95 percent efficient electric motor, the Gen3 will be the most energy-efficient racing car ever built.
In Season 9, seven manufacturers and 11 teams will compete head-to-head, driving innovation by racing today in pursuit of a better tomorrow.
